Scheduling a class
Classes should be scheduled at least three (3) weeks in advance to accommodate instructor availability and to minimize travel costs. Please contact Pultorak & Associates agent to schedule a class at (206) 729-1107 or email us at info@pultorak.com.
Class requests should be made in writing - email or facsimile are sufficient.
Information we need
Please provide the following information at the time the class is booked:
- Name, telephone, and email address for our primary on-site contact
- Classroom location details
- Shipping destination for printed class materials
- Special security procedures/protocols (if any)
- Dress code
What you need to do
You need to do the following in advance of the class:
- Invite attendees
- Setup the classroom (see below)
- Arrange any desired in-class meals or refreshments
Classroom setup
The classroom should be set-up in “classroom-style” (i.e., rows of tables and chairs) with ample room between individual students. The room should be equipped with:
- One (1) working LCD projector for presentations from a laptop
- One (1) flip chart easel and flip chart paper (or a large whiteboard)
- Several markers
- Masking tape
- Tent cards for Names
- Any printed materials shipped by Pultorak & Associates in advance
For classes which include proctored exams, there should be a reasonable amount of space between individual students.
Computers are not required.
Day(s) of class arrangements
Full-day classes typically begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 5:30 PM each day with several breaks throughout including lunch. This timing is flexible, so please advise if an earlier or later start is desired. The instructor will arrive approximately 45 minutes before the scheduled start time. The on-site contact should ensure that the instructor can get into the building and to the classroom without delay or difficulty.
Classes with certification exams
We use a third party to administer certification exams. This third party will provide a proctor to administer the exams in the classroom and will process the exam results independently of Pultorak & Associates.
If you are arranging a class with a certification exam, please ensure that all students are aware of the examination. Please note the following for classes with exams:
- Please be prepared for the arrival of the proctor on the last day of class (time confirmed by instructor.)
- Students should bring photo ID to class (driver's license, security badge, etc.)
- Exam results will be provided directly by the examination agency - not by Pultorak & Associates.
